About seemeafterwards

When our environment looks good, we feel better; when it looks bad, we feel dispassionate. The social impact of beauty, or lack of it, is undeniably very great.
seemeafterwards hopes to qualify and improve the visual landscape that surrounds us by utilising the opinions of the people who live within its reach every day. People use our stickers to 'grade' the design elements of their environment, from A+ to F-, according to how much they like or dislike them. They then post images, descriptions, comments and suggestions on the website. Recipients of stickers can then visit and talk about their own reactions and thoughts with others – and, we hope, go on to entertain some design possibilities for the future.
We want to see the good and the bad; the A-pluses as much as the F-minuses;
We want to encourage by useful example, whether in the fields of advertising or architecture; and whether created by corporations or local businesses;
We want our sma designer list to contain both local practitioners and giant agencies, so that everyone can exploit the real benefits of good design;
We want everyone to be able to search for what people like, and what they don’t, perhaps in contrast to the industry awards they’ve earned, or indeed been ignored by.
We want Britain to look and feel much better.
